Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting candidates for a first shift Team Supervisor Job in Canonsburg, PA, near Pittsburgh, PA for our client, a local manufacturer of quality power products built for a variety of industries. The Team Supervisor is an essential member of the production team. As the Team Supervisor you will direct the work, support and supervise a team of frontline associates in your designated manufacturing area. Our client offers a starting salary between $35,000 to $45,000 per year plus an excellent bonus opportunity and other benefits.

Responsibilities for the Team Supervisor Job in Canonsburg, PA:

*Lead the manufacturing associates in their daily duties to ensure a productive, efficient, safety and quality-driven environment.

*Manages the associates work schedule

*Participates in aspects of associate management including assisting in hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, team building and recognition.

*Ensure that company policy and goals are followed and achieved.

Qualifications:

*Two or more years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or the construction field. Five years of manufacturing experience is preferred in addition to teh supervisory position.

*A working knowledge of quality control systems including corrective action processes

*Understanding of inventory flow and control, production scheduling, lean manufacturing.

*Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs.

*Able to work all shifts

*Excellent computer experience including MS Office (Word, Excel)

*Associates Degree is preferred, High School diploma

*Able to lift up 25 pounds unassisted and stand for long periods of time.
